Planex Celebrates The Launch Of Slyder

Planex introduced their new personal storage product Slyder at the ‘Integrate: Designing Together’ event held at The Design Collective in Perth.
Members of the Perth design community came together for the Integrate: Designing Together event at The Design Collective showroom to talk design and celebrate the launch of Planex’s Slyder and xLocker2.
Designed for the modern workplace, Slyder is a personal storage product that feels at home both open plan and traditional office interiors, offering a simple and effective storage solution with its extracting door mechanism. While the xLocker2 serves as a unique steel personal storage solution, specifically designed for activity based working environments.
Planex owner Jean-Pierre Jardel and Design Collective Director Chris Burke spoke at the event and discussed methods of engagement and inspiration in design community.
Jean-Pierre also spoke about his design philosophy of built-in longevity in Planex products, and on the ability to reuse, reconfigure and recycle as needs change and offices grow. He calls this ‘built-out obsolescence’.
