NAWIC INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY COCKTAIL PARTY

The exquisite Corporate Culture showroom in Chippendale, Sydney hosted the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) International Women’s Day cocktail party on Thursday 6 March 2014.

The recipient of the NAWIC International Women’s Day Scholarship 2013, Rana Abboud eloquently presented the findings of her research into Augmented Reality (AR) which had the crowd in awe. The winner of the Corporate Culture sponsored 2014 scholarship was awarded to Michaela Sheahan of HASSELL for research into urban design for hospital precincts. In previous years, the NAWIC scholarship was open only to women in the NSW construction industry. 2014 saw its extension to being a national scholarship thanks to Corporate Culture’s commitment to funding the scholarship for three years from 2014.
