The Sir Zelman Cowen Oration by Moshe Safdie
Monash University is privileged to have engaged Moshe Safdie to design the new School of Music building at the University’s Clayton campus.
A celebrated Israeli-born, US-based global architect, urban planner, educator, theorist, and author, Mr Safdie is one of the most influential architects of our age. From the 1967 Habitat in Montreal to the dynamic Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, Moshe Safdie’s designs have a profound sense of place and purpose.
Join us at Arts Centre Melbourne’s Hamer Hall to hear Mr Safdie speak about his philosophy of architecture.
The event will feature performances by students of The Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music.
