Maruni in Australia: Seeho Su

Maruni has taken Australia by storm, with architects across the country specifying their pieces in a number of high profile projects.

Seeho Su are renowned for bringing Asian furniture design talent to Australian shores, with local specifiers taking inspiration from the subtle forms and textures of Asia’s key designers.

Seeho Su’s flagship collection Maruni, under the design directorship of Naoto Fukusawa, has proved particularly popular in recent months.

Maruni dining chairs played a key role in the recent work on a private residence by Bates Smart, and Maruni chairs currently appear in the CBA Darling Park project by Davenport Campbell.

BVN Architecture featured Maruni lounge chairs to stunning effect in their new facility for the Australian Red Cross Blood Service.

The clean lines and understated style of the chairs are a perfect addition to the subtle open spaces of the building’s interior.

Jasper Morrison’s chair for Maruni, most recently seen in Milan, looks set to be the next big seller in Seeho Su’s impressive catalogue.

Samples are available for architects and designers keen to try out this exciting new design – contact Seeho Su direct for more information. Get ready to see a lot more of Seeho Su and Maruni in Australia in the months to come!
