The ABP Alumni Survey Series presents an exhibition that offers a rare insight into the studio and works of Denton Corker Marshall
Exploring seven of the firm’s residential projects and two small buildings, the retrospective will take in models, sketches and photography.
As Deyan Sudjic, Director of the London Design Museum, writes in his Introduction of Denton Corker Marshall’s new publication Houses (published by Birkhäuser):
“If site is one key to Denton Corker Marshall’s work, the other is the materiality of their buildings at every scale, from the towers that they have built in Manchester and Sydney and Melbourne, and many other cities, to the houses. They display a delicacy and precision that comes close to jewellery. This is a group of houses that together demonstrates a deft infusion of architectural energy.
