Sydney-based design duo make an impact in The Big Apple
Simple growth patterns take on unexpected forms in korban/flaubert’s latest installation work, ‘Automatic’. The Sydney-based design duo, continue to view the world through the prisms of nature and geometry.
Their recent work, ‘Automatic’, explores growth patterns through two sequences of identical modules that connect and grow into divergent forms.
Exhibited in New York’s Diesel Denim Gallery earlier this year, `Automatic’ shows how repetition and connection can generate a surprisingly unpredictable outcome.
A possible exhibition at Art Basel Miami Beach in December will allow the flat-packed installation to emerge from its crate in a new form for a new space.
