Evolve Awards 2015 Finalists Announced

After much anticipation Designer Rugs has announced the eight finalists in the Evolve Awards 2015.
The eight finalists in the Evolve Awards 2015 include:

The finalists were selected by a panel of industry judges including Gavin Harris (Furturespace), Lorenzo Logi (Indesign Magazine), Louise Olsen (Dinosaur Designs) and Yosi Tal (Managing Director, Designer Rugs). The judging was conducted with the entrants’ names remaining anonymous throughout the whole judging process.
“It certainly was a tough decision for the judges to make, considering over 230 individual entries of a high standard were received,” says Yosi Tal, Managing Director of Designer Rugs. “The aim of the judges, of course, was to strike a balance between innovative and original design, and the ability to successfully translate the design into the medium of rugs. So, well done to those that have been chosen!”
The finalists now have the honour of their designs produced into a 200×300 cm or 250cm diameter handmade rug. Their designs will feature as part of the ID Collection 2015/16 on sale throughout Designer Rugs’ showrooms from December, and like most of Designer Rugs collections, can be custom sized and coloured to suit residential and commercial interiors.
The announcement of this year’s winner will be made at the Evolve Awards / ID Collection launch event. Also, announced at the launch will be the winner of the People’s Choice Award, along with the one lucky voter from the public.
