Just as a little girl’s doll collection continues to grow over time, Billiani’s versatile and extensive Doll range has welcomed a brand new member into the family – the Doll Steel Barstool.
The Doll range by Italian furniture maestro’s Billiani is iconic. Originally designed in 2010 by Emilio Nanni, over the years it has continued to grow and develop, much in the same way as a beloved toy, or doll, collection. As part of this ever-evolving brood, a new addition was released at the 2018 Salone del Mobile Milan – the Doll Steel Barstool.
The Doll range is broad and makes for a well-rounded family, including chairs, armchairs, stools, lounge chair and tables. The newest member expands the materiality of the collection by being fabricated in steel. With the newly launched metal barstool addition, the Doll’s sleek lines become even more embracing – the round base adding an element of lightness to the collection. A lightness that is juxtaposed by the supportive and well-balanced nature of the design.
The beauty of the lacquered steel means the new Barstool can be designed in an assortment of colours. Now, as a grown-up designer, you can mix and match, and pick and choose the best version of the Doll Barstool to suit exactly what you need.
A standout feature of Doll’s design is its clean, simple lines. This means it will be right at home in just about any setting – restaurant, café, hotel. The newest steel addition is no different, only coupled with the durability of a steel finish. The new Stool can handle any wear and tear it may endure with ease.
