Their Neo post and panel based workstation, first introduced in 2001, reigns supreme as Australia’s most commonly specified workstation for the last 10 years.
Freeplay is another popular system. Over 1500 workstations have recently been installed at CBA, Darling Walk, the largest activity-based working project in Australia. And the uniquely designed Beyon Beam system provides clients with infinite lengths (over 10m) of uninterrupted desk space by recessing all middle legs, ideal for high density environments.
It’s not just Desking Systems’ GECA-certified, sustainably produced and innovative products that sets the company apart; it’s also the service the company is able to provide, working closely with architects and designers to create imaginative, customised solutions.
In an Australian exclusive, Desking Systems recently partnered with Spanish commercial furniture company ACTIU, further enhancing their range and design possibilities. Designing in collaboration with some of Spain’s top designers, ACTIU are world leaders in high quality loose furniture, specialising in task seating and tables.

Underpinning all of ACTIU’s products is a strong environmental philosophy, so much so that it led to the development of their Technology Centre in Castalla, Spain, a state-of-the-art facility with some amazing sustainable credentials, including the largest industrial solar panel installation in Europe, able to generate enough energy to supply its own needs and that of a small town!
All ACTIU products are manufactured with the same sustainable and self-sufficient approach in mind, employing recyclable materials and ensuring that manufacturing processes minimise waste and energy expenditure. With products such as Arkitek, Winner and Plek, it’s no wonder that Desking Systems are proud to be bringing this remarkable brand to our shores.
