BELOW THE SURFACE: WHO IS 2TEC2?
Published

Introducing 2TEC2. This Belgian-born, global cult textile brand are masters of the nexus between traditional weaving and modern techniques. But there is far more to this material design house than is on the surface.

2TEC2 was created in 2005 as part of Le Tissage d’Arcade (LTA) – a family business specialising in the design and production of exclusive design and luxury carpets for the residential market.
Having conquered the residential world, 2TEC2 was crafted to shake up both the commercial and residential sphere, adding some personality and life into modern work and living environment.
This is woven vinyl flooring – but not as you know it.
As a family brand led by creative powerhouse Katia De Witte, her husband Philippe Hanet and brother James De Witte, 2TEC2 is unique in its ability to give real personality to a space by telling a captivating story with highly functional materials.
This is a brand defined by harmonious combination of traditional weaving and the use of superior modern materials. 2TEC2 smoothly merges innovative materials and appealing aesthetics with long-term durability and easy maintainability. With the alluring appearance of fabric, 2TEC2’s robust, technically advanced floor coverings are compatible with heavy use and are thus fitting for both commercial and residential applications.
