BB from Poliform

An out-of-the-box approach to the creation of form and structure has resulted in BB
The BB’s defining characteristic is that its exoskeleton is completely constructed in hide.

The armchair is injected with light expended polyurethane, which gives form to the piece, the leather hide used to contain he material becomes at once a finish, as well as seemingly serving as structure.

A design that looks for the efficiency of the materials that go into creating it, the BB paves the way for a new “aesthetic efficiency”.

Milanese designers Riccardo Blumer and Matteo Borghi designed the chair for Poliform in 2009.
