Extensive research into the latest materials has led to the creation of the BCN stool, a design so unique that it challenges current standards and expectations of furniture.

The BCN stool is made from polybutylenterephthlate, a type of plastic which defies form and allows for flexibility whilst ensuring maintenance of the seat’s original shape.

This unusual combination allowed the designers to literally mould the stool as they wished, creating the smooth curves and beautiful silhouette that signify the piece.

Generally utilized as insulation for electrical components and thus highly resistant to wear, tear, solvents and heat, the plastic used not only adds to the striking aesthetics of the BCN but also ensures it will last long into the future.

The stool’s organic design results in an ergonomic feel for ultimate comfort, and with the broad range of colours and sizes available, the BCN suits indoor and outdoor settings no matter how formal the space.

BCN is offered with a tubular steel frame with chrome finish or in a colour to match the seat, either in versatile black or white or lively fluorescent green.

Produced by renowned Barcelona-based designers Camila Vega Faba and Harry Paul Van Ierssel, the BCN represents the combination of their European cultures, a unity of the Dutch free spirit and Latin sensualism.
