Light that is never static and never indicates any symmetry: the APHRODITE LED luminaire combines light, colour and movement in a fascinating manner, allowing to impressively set façades and rooms to the centre stage.
Based on the lighting spectacles found in nature and the biorhythm concept devised by designer Nik Schweiger, the LED spotlight typically provides emotive lighting scenes.
In the process, the benefits of LED technology show to particular advantage. Unceasing yet non-repetitive lighting projections are made possible by a specially developed LED module with a motor-driven glass cylinder. A choice of seven pre-defined lighting scenes with three speeds and various dimming levels is available. They create lighting scenarios from functional white light in various colour temperatures, combined with emotive coloured light from red, blue and amber LEDs. The spotlight is operated manually via two momentary-action switches installed directly on the spot, or digitally via DMX protocol. Thanks to IP 65 protection and high resistance against chemical impact, APHRODITE is an eye-catcher also in wellness areas, inviting people to relax.
Materials
- Die-cast aluminium housing and aluminium fixing bracket in matt white powder-coated finish with high corrosion protection.
- The front glass panel (clear) with ceramic printing is thermally hardened and is bonded tightly onto the spotlight housing for a reliable seal.
- Glass cylinder made of borosilicate glass with glass deformations for light refraction.
