Poliform Kyton Kitchen

Imagine opening a cupboard door eight times a day for 68 years to check its durability – that’s the sort of rigor that Poliform, subjects its products to (albeit 200,000 openings in a shorter timeframe).

Poliform is an Italian manufacturer with almost 70 years experience in customised joinery and furniture solutions encompassing: kitchens, wardrobes, entertainment units, dining tables, chairs and sofas. Poliform is renowned for its innovation and continues to push the boundaries of aesthetic, quality and sustainable design practice.

David Cross, senior design consultant and kitchen specialist for Poliform says, as kitchens have gravitated into the main living space during the last 10-15 years, Poliform kitchen designs have become increasingly tailored furniture elements.

The more pared back Kyton, launched in the Australian market in 2011, introduces a range of new design features and innovations to the Poliform kitchen collection. These include: highly resolved glass doors, space saving pocket doors, thinner bench tops, seamless handles, increased use of mixed media and techniques to reduce volume – all working in concert to create a finely crafted kitchen within the broader living space.

It’s the quality and design details that distinguish each of the kitchen styles in the Poliform collection that now comprises: Kyton, Twelve, Matrix, Alea, Minimal and My Plane. Each style offers endless versatility in configuration – with the resulting form being custom designed for each individual client.

NEW showroom open November 2011 Sydney – 84 O’Riordan St Alexandria t 02 9690 0777
Melbourne – 650 Church Street, Richmond t 03 8420 0800
