Agile Professionals + Personal Storage = Activelocker

With the rise in popularity of Agile Office environments and the increasing demand for End of Trip facilities, lockers and locker rooms are becoming an exciting platform for design ingenuity.

Many locker companies have spent years setting up systems that allow them to mass produce stock standard lockers. This deals with the rising popularity of lockers and storage in design, sure, but this also forced creativity and invention out of the equation! Activelocker is different – specializing in customised locker design, curated to each project.

Take a recent project at 126 Phillip St Sydney. The design included a series of illuminated Baresque acrylic doors, creating a professional and serene ambience. Here, guests enjoy a more peaceful mood at the beginning and end of their day, matched by a series of ethereal, aesthetically pleasing lockers.

Having also recently completed signature projects such as Macquarie Bank 1MP (Fitzpatrick+Partners), Astra Zeneca (Futurespace), WPP The Bond (Geyer) and  continuing works on Sydney Trains (Jacobs) and Woolworths (Davenport Campbell), Activelocker relish the opportunity to deliver lockers that enhance the experience of an agile work environment.

Activelocker allows architects and designers to think outside the box when planning storage solutions. Decorative features are endless and can include vinyl graphics, decorative routering, planter boxes and integrated pin boards, adding practicality to visual flair. Activelocker prides themselves on collaborative processes with architects and designers, so to best achieve design intentions.

Activelockers’ Solution Specialist, Francesca Guidotto has a thorough understanding of the design and aesthetics of locking systems – from mechanical to digital, smart and hardwired. Francesca and the team are out to help designers navigate the locker design world, and find the solution that best suits every project. With knowledge of compliance standards to Greenstar, DDA and WHS, Activelockers’ practical solutions truly achieve the balance between function and form.
