Friday 25 May is a chance to ease into things before the main event. Friday’s festivities take a relaxed pace, with many showrooms organising their own special events or hosting visitors by appointment.

This is a great chance to check things out in your own time – and be the first to see new products! Just contact your favourite showrooms prior to the day (exhibitor details can be found on the Brisbane Indesign website) to find out what’s on or to arrange a time to visit.

Exhibitor events on Friday include:

Zenith: 8am invitation-only VIP breakfast

King Furniture: 12-2pm unveiling of installation by interior designer David Hicks, and industrial designer Charles Wilson speaks about his award-winning Andrea Sofa

Mafi: 10am-5pm Open Workshop on working with timber

Café Culture: VIP preview of the Sweetness and Light showroom on Friday night.
