High profile designers including Ross Lovegrove and Neil Poulton joined Artemide founder and designer Ernesto Gismondi, architect and designer Carlotta de Bevilacqua and a host of friends, clients and international guests in the garden of De Bevilacqua’s beautiful studio on the Via Antonio Canova, a short stroll from the Triennale di Milano near the centre of Milan.

Guests enjoyed chilled prosecco, fresh antipasto and mozzarella di bufala while comparing highlights of the Salone del Mobile and Milan Design Week.

On display in the studio was “Contemporary Plot”, Danese’s Milan Design Week exhibition of technologically innovative and exploratory furniture, art, lighting and conceptual pieces from international designers including Andrea Anastasio, Naoto Fukasawa, and Matteo Pastorio.

The event was also an opportunity to key pieces from Danese’s new collection of lighting which was launched simultaneously at Milan Design Week and Light + Building in Frankfurt and featured work by Lovegrove, Poulton and De Bevilacqua among others.

Also on show were many of Danese’s design classics from the 1950s, 60s & 70s including original artwork and graphics, home accessories, lighting and furniture.
