KE-ZU, Kenneth Cobonpue and Hive are calling for submissions to the first Hive lighting design competition.
July 28th, 2008
KE-ZU, in conjunction with Kenneth Cobonpue and Hive, is sponsoring the inaugural Hive lighting design competition.
Using Kenneth Cobonpue and Hive manufacturing materials and energy efficient light sources, entrants are being asked to conceive “an ambient lamp for the darkness of tomorrow” for indoor and outdoor use.
The designs must work to five key criteria: environmental friendliness, illumination, ease of manufacture, economic efficiency and cost effective delivery [freight].
The winner will receive a trip to the Hive factory in the Philippines and the opportunity to have their design manufactured.
Entry is now open to students and professionals residing in Australia and closes on 31st October 2008.
