Are you an established or emerging artist in Brisbane looking to take part in a truly unique creative experience?
Australian retailer Chairbiz is putting out a final call for entries to its ’Artists at Work’ live painting session during Brisbane Indesign.
10 artists will be selected to take part in the session at the Chairbiz showroom on Saturday 26 May from 12pm to 4pm, using their materials of choice to create an artistic interpretation of the Project theme, Common Thread.
One of Australia’s most exciting young artists, Nic Plowman, will be judging the artworks on the day and the winner will be awarded $1,500 prize money, as well as have their painting displayed in the Chairbiz showroom.
All submissions will also go in the running to win $500 for the People’s Choice Award. The People’s Choice winning artwork will then be raffled off as a door prize on the night.
Finally, a live auction at the end of the day will give the design community a chance to own their very own piece of art by an emerging Brisbane artist.
Don’t miss your chance to be involved in this live creative event, create something truly special and have your work seen by Brisbane Indesign’s design-savvy art-loving community.
Entries to the Artists at Work live painting session close on Friday 20 April. Enter now via our online form, including some examples of your work, and you could be one of the 10 Artists at Work!
