Announcing The Return Of Boilingpoint ̊ Magazine!

It’s Back and Better than Ever!

Reimagined and redesigned, Zip Water are proud to present the return of the brand’s design magazine, Boilingpoint, to mass acclaim. Since its first publication in 2002, Zip Water’s Boilingpoint magazine has been a reflection of the times. First taking the form of a broadsheet, the magazine became an industry-first innovation that signposted Zip Water’s global achievements and boundary-pushing products. Later, responding to a growing commercial sector, Boilingpoint shrunk down to a convenient letter size for coffee tables or reading at your desk, the case study format showcasing the best of commercial projects using Zip Water products around the world. Through it all, Boilingpoint has endured as an important industry touchpoint. Part innovation manifesto, part project digest, the magazine is as innovative and exciting as the Zip product offering itself.

Redesigning Boilingpoint #23:

With the launch of issue 23, Zip is proud to unveil a sleek new look for Boiling Point, as well as a fresh editorial direction. Reflecting the recent renaissance enjoyed by print media, this issue takes a long-form approach to presenting Zip’s latest achievements and technological developments. Thanks to its new compact, glossy finish, Boiling Point is perfect for reading on the go, making it ideal for today’s generation of agile, mobile-working designers. Issue 23 is jam-packed with standout design by leading local firms across all Australian sectors, exploring each project in some depth alongside sumptuous visuals.

Since its first publication in 2002, Zip Water’s Boilingpoint Magazine has been a reflection of the times. First taking the form of a broadsheet, the magazine became an industry-first publication in appliance innovation that signposted the brand’s global achievements and boundary-pushing products. Later, responding to a growing commercial sector, Boilingpoint shrunk down to a convenient letter size for coffee tables or reading at your desk, the case study format showcasing the best of commercial projects using Zip Water products around the world. For almost twenty years, Boilingpoint has endured as an important industry touchpoint. Part design innovation manifesto, part project digest, the magazine is as innovative and exciting as the Zip Water product offering itself.

Reimagining Contemporary Design:

To kick things off, Boiling Point takes an in-depth look at the technology that allows Zip to provide reliable convenience, wellbeing, and great taste for all customers. From there, the focus shifts to projects: from the Emmy Monash Aged Care Centre by Bates Smart to SJB’s Paragon of Pyrmont, the magazine takes readers across the country and into some of this year’s best and brightest spaces. In true Zip spirit, innovation and creativity are celebrated, as in the case of the award-winning Paramount Office Space and Western Sydney University, both designed by Woods Bagot.

“Boilingpoint #23 celebrates the power for design and technology to transform the spaces in which we work, live and play. It brings greater understanding to the impact that design can have on better the prosperity, equality and health of our daily lives. We invite you to join us on this journey and we thank you for your loyalty and support over many decades of drinking water appliance innovation.” – John Doumani, President International, Zip Water.

Engagingly written and abounding with beautiful images and leading design information, the latest issue of Boilingpoint ‘zips’ by, and is sure to leave readers thirsty for more.
