With office partitions being the go-to solution for so much of the working world, the JEB team realised, why settle for bland? Enter the Brooklyn series…
With the Brooklyn series, the JEB team has designed office partitions that go beyond the mere dividing of space – these are stylish and aesthetically pleasing works of design. Inspired by the styles of the past but tailored to today’s modern environment, the Brooklyn system is a key element in creating an office space with a subtle art deco or warehouse feel. The contours and contrasting of the individual partitions have been measured to the finest detail, resulting in an office system that gives spaces a modern edge within a stylish office environment.
Stone & Chalk, one of the largest financial technology hubs in Asia, had recently relocated to the iconic Wynyard Green in the Sydney CBD when they realized they needed a modern partition solution. The new hub provides the company more capacity to expand its operation, but this of course comes with its own internal space and design issues.
JEB Partitions was appointed to modify the workspace with office partitions. The team installed the sleek Brooklyn partition systems using the 10mm-thick patterned glass and carefully-crafted door frames to help divide spaces for conference rooms. This high performing system is able to meet the most demanding technical and aesthetic requirements.
The use of the Brooklyn series helps retain the historical integrity of the building and achieve the contemporary outlook that Stone & Chalk wants to illustrate. Patterned glass was chosen to create a textured and decorative touch to the partitions, offering transparency and privacy.
The result of the installation was a success. The Brooklyn series’ industrial and modern element delivers the perfect contrast, complementing the vintage aesthetics of the building.
The charm of the Brooklyn series for Stone & Chalk, then led JEB to install this partition for other occupants in the Wynyard Green.
