Indesign Media joins Tappeti for a night of unparalleled quality and design to announce the launch of the brand’s most recent collezione, Geo.
October 8th, 2018
On the 27th of September, Tappeti, world-class carpet and rug designers, hosted an intimate cocktail evening in its showroom in Chippendale for the launch of their latest collection of fine rugs – GEO.
Among the great turn out of attendees, the cocktail event also included some of Sydney’s leading design practitioners who experienced the showroom coming to life with GEO rugs hanging on the walls like tapestries. Curating a striking installation of rugs, Justine Mantel and Jessica Dahdah of Dezign Mode waved their wands to result in a symbiotic fusion of contemporary design thinking and Tappeti‘s masterful craftsmanship.
For over twelve years, Tappeti has solidified its position within the design community as a company that identifies with high quality and unique products. Having provided fine rugs for prestigious hotels, hospitality companies, corporate headquarters, convention centres, airports and even luxurious yachts, Tappeti has proven to understand the true value of superior rug and carpet design.
“Marrying commercial grade quality and sought-after manufacturing techniques, with the best quality materials has resulted in a delightful celebration of individuality and sophistication. […] When interiors are full of mass production and ‘seen-it-all-before’ designs, GEO stands out as a breath of fresh air offering the highest level of quality, adding complexity and depth to all environments.”
– Karinna Gobbo, Founder and CEO of Tappeti
As part of Tappeti‘s sophisticated offering, no two rugs are exactly alike. The heightened degree of individuality within Tappeti‘s new range, GEO, is both poetic as it is familiar and welcoming. With the ability to become a statement within any space, the entire range draws on a deep understanding of how built perspectives can be portrayed through line, colour and shape.
Each design is distinctive – and evident at the launch event, GEO amuses with various colours and textures to present an extensive range of possible configurations. The decoratively patterned GEO collection can be customised to suit any brief with various fibre blend selections, finishes and shimmers of art silk.
Accompanied by an added flair, GEO is guaranteed to be in harmony with any surrounding, perfectly representing Tappeti‘s superior craftsmanship within today’s design generation.
With a full display of the new collection available to see, it’s no surprise that the evening was a rousing success. Indesign congratulates Tappeti on a wonderful evening and GEO, a new luxurious collection of rugs – and cannot wait to see what designer’s and architects do with this range.
