Come behind the scenes with what went down at the exclusive Saturday Indesign event evenings – the who, the where and most importantly what to expect come June.
Saturday Indesign will be taking over Melbourne this June. In the lead up to the return of this much-loved event, we invited new friends and old to an information evening in Sydney and Melbourne. What better opportunity to find out what’s around the corner than two intimate events where our guests could get the inside scoop and find out what to expect at the mid-year event.
Melbourne kicked off the proceedings with a get together at the Garden State Hotel in the city (designed by Technē Architecture + Design). Some familiar names were among the crowd – Arthur G, P4, Ajar, Rakumba, Miele, ownworld and Volker Haug. In Sydney a week later it was a friendly affair with Cult, Design Nation (formerly Cafe Culture + Insitu), Cosentino and Ke-Zu.
So what is in the works for Saturday Indesign 2019? Not only will Melbourne be a city fired-up with the best in design, but it will also be about fostering a full day of inspiration and professional growth. An edited footprint with a selection of the best showrooms and exhibitors across Melbourne, it’s the kind of backdrop that sparks life-long friendships and future business prospects.
“For us, Saturday Indesign is all about welcoming people straight into our showroom and offering them a generous and inspiring hospitality experience that’s reflective of our brand. It’s a very personal way to build relationships” shares ownworld director Peter Beikmanis.
Reiterating the value in building personal relationships right in the heart of your business, Design Nation’s Marnie Hammond says, “We have been involved in Saturday Indesign many times over the years and it’s always such a great way to enliven the industry, share knowledge and give people a sense of our brand.”
If you want to get your brand in motion, join us at our final Melbourne Info Night on Thursday 28 February. RSVP here.
