When Angela Kasimis purchased a derelict corner block in Sydney’s inner city suburb of Glebe, she was taking a leap into the unknown. With no hospitality or design experience, she had visions of a boutique wine bar that traded grunge for something decidedly more continental. Enter Pattern Studio, who took Kasimis’ ideas and transformed them into reality, with No. 92 emerging as a refined destination with an approach to design and hospitality that is rich, evocative and immersive. In this session, Kasimis (No. 92) and Lily Goodwin (Pattern Studio) come together to reflect on their collaboration and the magic that comes from a strong working relationship between client and designer.
