Something Beginning With has unveiled an all-new furniture collection, where buoyancy meets industry with interplay of material and finishes; say Halo!
The Halo collection employs a clean-cut design and carries a visual lightness, making it a perfect match for all manner of applications, from home living spaces to commercial breakout areas and hospitality environments.
The Halo range employs a strong, industrialised form, within a buoyant aesthetic, retaining a sense of harmony and balance. Australian designed and finely crafted, Halo comes to life from a combination of solid American oak and circular steel tubing, comprising a chair, high stool, lounge chair and three seater sofa, complemented by a matching side table and coffee table.
The meeting of oak finished timber, in natural or coloured stain, with the circular steel tube in powder coated colours results in a lively interplay of form; traditional Bauhaus stability with the comforts of contemporary design. The range is available in an array of stains, powder coat colours and fabric or leather upholstery options.
On launching the local range to market, Something Beginning With founders Lisa Vincitorio and Laelie Berzon say, “For its Australian debut, we’ve upholstered the Halo lounge chair in Kvadrat Ria by Raf Simons and the three seater sofa in Instyle Herringbone – a sophisticated spectrum of colour and materials creates graphic boldness, yet an elegant interpretation of a very simple, streamlined design,”
The Halo collection is the latest launch from Melbourne’s Something Beginning With, a brand known for its unique dynamic within the Australian design community, offering an intelligent range of adaptable and customisable furniture.
