To mark their 40th anniversary, Whitecliffe are importing a range of hand-embroidered Fedora Designs from the US. To celebrate their arrival for the first time on Australian shores, Whitecliffe hosted an industry launch party at the Opera House on Friday 25 June.

On Wednesday 16 June Boyac hosted an evening of Italian inspiration at the recent launch of Italian fabric house Colony's latest releases including their first ever contract textiles collection. Hosting 255 guests, the event was held at Carousel, Albert Park Lake in Melbourne. Entertainment included a three-piece Jazz band and a speed painter painting famous icons for guests to keep.

Boral hosted a series of cocktail events for architects around the country this May to celebrate the launch of the 2010 Boral Design Award. The roadshow culminated in Melbourne, with a serious foodie fest in the city’s chic Coda Bar and Restaurant.
Euroluce launched their new concept Light Studio in Surry Hills. Part of the Hill Street Precinct, set to be Sydney’s newest design hub, the Light Studio features "The Walk" devised by Melbourne artist, Tim Fleming. On the night, industry guests enjoyed chilled out tunes, Campari cocktails and canapés and experienced the space and the luminaires in new perspectives.
Gathered to celebrate Artek’s 75th Anniversary, the design industry came out in droves to the Anibou-hosted event at the Australian Printers Workshop in Melbourne.
Last year it was the GFC Party … and this year futurespace held their second annual event with the theme of “Recovery”. It has been a cracking start to 2010 for many in the industry and the team at futurespace thought this was something worth celebrating.
