On 27 May 2009 Indesign Group re-launched flagship magazine Indesign amongst the glamour and views of The Residence in Sydney’s Hyde Park.
May 28th, 2009
Presenting Indesign like you’ve never seen it before, the event brought together 350 VIP guests from Sydney’s design and architectural community.
Proud sponsors The Residence provided the venue, while Bombay Sapphire and Schweppes provided cocktails, Dos Equis helped out with the beer and Veuve Clicquot kept everyone’s bubbly topped up while they enjoyed the oyster bar.
Indesign’s distinguished Editorial Director Paul McGillick spoke about the process of re-launching the magazine, which involved a complete re-think of the structure as well as a new visual identity by Studio one8one7’s Marcus Piper and Christey Johannson.
Laurie Aznavoorian from Geyer then stood up to give a lively speech comparing design to finance and Indesign Publisher and Managing Director Raj Nandan finished off with some insight into Indesign’s journey so far, as well as a big thanks to all.
The evening was certainly a success and the public will be able to experience the new Indesign for themselves from the 28 May when the magazine is available at newsstands.
