Braving torrential downpours on the wettest night of 2011 to date, CLOUSTON Associates partied with around 100 clients and colleagues at their annual autumn drinks at Sydney’s Greenhouse by Joost on Monday 21 March.

Once inside, guests shook off the odd condensation drip from the magnesium oxide board roof of the pop-up café to enjoy delicious food by Stix Catering while drinking from recycled jam jars. As the rain ceased, some even made it to the rooftop to take in the always magnificent harbour views and ponder the sustainable architecture and urban design questions highlighted by this unique space.
In welcoming everyone, Managing Director Leonard Lynch described CLOUSTON’s commitment to sustainability as going beyond mere physical ends, to include lasting relationships and shared values – that’s how, as Leunig says, ’the garden is watered’.
And it was a wet night for all!
