Kokuyo Showroom Launch
Kokuyo hosted a party for special guests on Thursday 19 April to celebrate the opening of its new showroom in Singapore at 42 Duxton Road. All eyes were on the Cherche Midi. The chair is made of woven carbon fibre, and weighs a mere 960g!

Green Space

Indesign and DQ Party in Milan
Indesign and DQ hosted a soirée at Milan's NooN cocktail bar and restaurant on Wednesday 18 April. At the halfway point of the world's biggest design fair, the evening was a chance for design industry folk to relax, mingle, chat about what they'd seen so far - and prepare for another two days of festivities ahead.

Stylecraft ‘Design an Egg’ Competition
Stylecraft gathered 16 teams from the design community to decorate an egg following the theme ‘Easter Bling’. The first prize of 10 Juno Chairs from Arper went to Geyer for their Damien Hirst-inspired Bling Skull! Indesignlive.asia’s very own editor took home the lucky draw prize - an Aro Lounge by Capdell.

Indesign Indonesia Luminary: Prof. Danisworo
Indesign Indonesia honoured the work and lifetime achievements of Prof. Mohammad Danisworo on Thursday 29 March. Some 140 guests from the local architecture and design community attended the celebration, which was held at the Luxeliving Showroom in Menteng, Central Jakarta.

Terminal Velo-cities Exhibition
Wednesday 14 March saw the launch of Kim Gravelle’s latest solo exhibition at MTM Loft, 85 Playfair Road. On display – oil and acrylic paintings on canvas and plywood capturing impressions of Asian cities through the eyes of a business traveller moving at full speed.

Haworth ‘Enter The Dragon’ Party
Haworth Singapore welcomed the New Year with a festive party at IndoChine’s The Forbidden City on Thursday 19 January. Guests were greeted by drummers, and given feathered fans and ‘Shanghai’ shawls to join in the fun. The best-dressed guest walked away with a Maria side table from Haworth and a Dragon Dance performance rounded up the night!

He Made She Made Opening Night
Over 500 guests attended the opening night of He Made She Made, Sydney's newest concept gallery, on Tuesday 31 January. Gaggenau White Truffle Hunt and Dinner
Gaggenau held the first-ever White Truffle Hunt in Singapore, and possibly the world, on Thursday 27 October.
