Emergency Architects Australia (EAA) is offering 20 people the opportunity to travel to one of the EAA’s project sites in the Solomon Islands to participate in the delivery of village latrines over a two-week period in January 2011.

This is an opportunity to gain basic experience necessary to work on EAA projects as a field volunteer and generally to work with communities in the developing world.

The project site is on the island of Ranongga, where EAA has been working since the 2007 earthquake and tsunami.

The cost of the trip is $3500 from Brisbane and includes all flights, transfers, local travel, accommodation, food, insurance and a contribution to materials for the project.
