Cosentino Australia has today announced a new collaboration with Neale Whitaker, judge on Channel Nine’s hit reality series, The Block and Editor of Vogue Living , who will act as local ambassador for the world leader in the production and distribution of innovative surfaces for architecture and design.
September 30th, 2015
The partnership comes as Cosentino continues to take significant strides to solidify its position within the Australian design industry with recent brand activity including ongoing support of The Block and the opening of its revitalised Cosentino City Centre in Sydney earlier this month.
Present in kitchens, laundries and challenge kitchens in the previous three seasons of The Block, Cosentino Australia’s relationship with Neale started through a mutual love of high-end design and accessible products that can transform any space from ordinary to extraordinary.
Gary Isherwood, Cosentino Australia Area Director, says their relationship with Neale will help bolster customer engagement. “We’re excited to be working with Neale, who is very much an icon in Australia’s design industry. His knowledge of the landscape and changing trends will help us as we continue working hard to engage with consumers across the country,” he says. “Neale is the ideal ambassador for Cosentino Australia as he reflects our core values of premium quality and modern style, whilst remaining accessible to the wider population.”
Cosentino currently works with global ambassadors Rafael Nadal and Jorge Lorenzo, and is a household name across Europe. The partnership with Neale marks the first local ambassador for the Spanish multinational and is the next step in introducing its key products, Silestone and Dekton, to an even greater number of homes across Australia.
Neale Whitaker says that he is pleased to be partnered with a brand that is a leader in the design industry. “I’m excited to be working with such a well-established European brand and look forward to growing our partnership as Cosentino continues to expand in Australia,” he says. “Design today requires a high level of innovation, a focus on modernity and an understanding of consumer needs in the constantly changing world of architecture and interiors. Cosentino is at the forefront of delivering new and ground-breaking products that offer contemporary style to help transform the industry, so I’m pleased to be a part of that innovation and change.”
Since launching in Australia in 2011, Cosentino has opened three Showrooms and three distribution centres across Sydney, Melbourne and Queensland, and has grown in headcount to a team of 38 with bigger plans on the horizon.
