South African company, Xanita, first launched their sustainable concept in June ‘07 at FESPA Berlin, and then in Australia atDesignEX in April ’08.

The design concept of using post-consumer recycled paper for applications such as bookcases, coffins, bulkheads, room dividers, displays, plinths, movie sets, desks and more- is taking the world by storm. Now distributed in 24 countries, Xanita’s product can be used for years and later disposed of in paper recycling bins.

Many top designers in Australia are now working on exciting new projects with Xanita, including Spaceleft Design Studio of Melbourne.

The key to Flat Jack’s unique structure is the vertical supports are cut from the horizontals ensuring 96% of the X-Board sheet is utilised. Flat Jack is lightweight, easy to assemble and transport making it a versatile storage solution.
