Working with Woods Bagot, Mirvac’s restoration of the facilities, now dubbed The Nest, are open to all of the tenants of 367 Collins, which is anchored by key tenants Optus and Sportsbet.

The Nest, named in reference to the local peregrine falcons that have taken up residence on level 33 of the building, have been designed to provide a high level of comfort and convenience, and comprises a fully integrated zone of secure lockers, restrooms, showers and change areas in a comfortable and luxurious purpose built space.

“The recent completion of the end of trip facilities at 367 Collins is a great example of a innovative approach to rejuvenating an asset,” says Richard Bradley, Commercial Development Director at Mirvac “The facilities are located in what was an old banking chamber and post office. Repositioning 367 Collins through this adaptive re-use is something we’re very proud of. The tenant feedback has been extremely positive”

Lead designer at Woods Bagot Hazel Porter said that the team worked within the existing building’s design to employ a sense of architectural symmetry derived from the commercial tower geometry.

“The space is designed for the discerning user who is as comfortable in a boardroom as they are in a yoga studio. High level finishes and bespoke joinery throughout the EOT space reflects the contextual reputation of Collins Street and provides a highly coveted amenity, within a competitive leasing market – further enhancing the value of this asset,” Hazel says.
