A multi-million dollar fit-out for the Sports Theatre and Bar.
March 29th, 2010
Star City recently called upon Design Hub to fabricate and supply a major part of the feature designs of a $475 million dollar makeover at Star City
While the space was designed by the Buchan Group, Design Hub were called upon to bring the design for the Sport Theatre and Bar to life, with vibrant colours, bold lighting and a designer bar.
As the newest, largest and brightest 24-hour venue for sporting action and entertainment, the dynamic design features suspended feature lighting panels, feature LCD boxes, main ring diffusers, back feature wall displays and diffusers, column panel diffusers and ceiling panels.
The opalescent bar, which is Australia’s longest, with a circumference of 46.5m and the feature wall panelling, were among the dramatic features designed and fabricated for the space.
The feature wall was made from three layers of translucent red resin and fit together like a very complicated puzzle. The effect is amazing – a luminous piece of artwork.
