LUXE Studios is a multi level photographic studio facility situated in the heart of East Sydney, and whose namesake is confidently reflected through a stellar design undertaken by Tina Engelen and Will Fung of CO-AP (Collaborative Architecture Practice).

“Having experienced studio facilities internationally, my goal was to create a professional environment in Sydney which exceeded even those in cities such as New York and London where the world’s top photographers regularly shoot”, said owner, Dolores Lavin.

In simplest terms, LUXE embraces the mantra of ‘attention to detail’ with an almost fervent dedication. The site of a former restaurant and warehouse, LUXE is a brand new construction which allowed CO-AP the luxury of realising a complete vision.

From front door to rear exit, and bottom floor to top, what is immediately evident is a quality of finish that is impeccable. An exquisite feature throughout are LUXE’s diamond polished concrete floors.

Extending the LUXE experience are settings of occasional furniture in each studio which provide production teams ‘in residence’ a stylish and considered level of comfort and function. This includes Oblong sofas by Jasper Morrison for Cappellini and Chair_One chairs by Konstantin Grcic for Magis, mixed with dining and side tables by Alvar Aalto for Artek.
