A move to new premises on Lonsdale Street in Melbourne’s CBD marked a new opportunity for Entity Solutions to maximise collaboration between existing staff and increase engagement with visitors and potential future staff.

Spectrum Interiors were engaged to complete the fit-out of the new workplace – a flexible, open space that encouraged an office culture of transparency and connectivity.

At the entry to the office, the traditional boundaries between front and back of house are blurred, creating a welcoming space for staff, clients and visitors alike. This multi-use zone can act as a boardroom, informal meeting area or even a communal presentation space for up to 150 people.

Smaller meeting rooms, designed to resemble a train with adjoining carriages named after different world capitals, provide more intimate and private traditional meeting areas.

Sustainable materials were used wherever possible in the fit-out, as well as energy efficient lighting solutions. Re-used and re-configured items were used in a way that also reflects the active, dynamic nature of the company itself. Stools made from recycled skateboards provide a fun and visually striking design element.

The result is an engaging space that communicates the values of the company and provides room for growth, change and creativity.
