A company founded with the determination to search for “the right light”.
October 19th, 2011
What does your company supply?
High-end architectural and decorative lighting
What’s the history of your company (how did it start)?
Mario Nanni was born in Bizzuno, a small village near Lugo (Ravenna), in 1955, and from here comes the name of the company. As years went by his interest and curiosity for the “concept of light”. His close relationships with internationally renowned architects and designers led him to experiment with new ways and methods of planning lighting fixtures, with just one goal in mind: to search for the right light. The synthesis of his experiences was his decision to embark on the great adventure of production: in 1994 Viabizzuno was set up, the tangible expression of his planning philosophy and his passion for light.
Separate and yet complementary, just like the two different philosophies behind the two Viabizzuno collections. Viabizzuno Australia is newly established (2011), and seeks to replicate the Viabizzuno approach to the creative interpretation and execution of lighting design…
Where do you distribute?
Australia
Describe your customers?
Discerning architects and interior designers with an eye for detail. Those who are looking to apply artistic and innovative layers of finish and detail to their projects
What sets your company apart?
The process and execution of the Viabizzuno design philosophy is represented by a white space intersected by two lines; one vertical, well balanced, logical, clean, For M. the other; dynamic, irreverent, ironic, Alvaline. In the intersection between the two lines is UpO, Ufficio progettazione Ombre… the department for customised project lighting solutions.
The combination of two ranges – one of pure architectural forms, the other of decorative pieces with a clear identity forms the basis of a holistic and comprehensive approach to creative lighting design.
