August 6th, 2013
Since it’s release in 2012, the Web chair by Krost has fast become a well-recognised piece of their collection. Coming from one of Australia’s leaders in office furniture, the chair is made from an elastic Nylon compound which compound which sculpts to each individual.
The Web chair boasts full postural support, as it is able to follow the movement and positions of its user. The ‘web’ like detail on the back of the chair is what makes this all possible, and is innovative in both aesthetics and function.
Krost takes into account the total lifespan, reusability and versatility of their products, delivering this through a careful selection of materials. A prime demonstration of this, The Web chair is comprised of 42% recycled content whilst proving 92% recyclable.
Principles that were applied to create the Web chair have been linked to studies that show how ergonomics can directly relate to job performance, job satisfaction and employee wellbeing. It’s this smart thinking that works to create long lasting, well designed furnishings.
