Adding to their existing range of environmental, carbon neutral textiles, Sustainable Living Fabrics has released three new heavy-duty commercial fabric varieties.
April 5th, 2016
For over 40 years, Sustainable Living Fabrics has been the leading supplier of fabrics for corporate, educational and health sectors with their environmentally friendly, heavy-duty commercial product line. Sustainable Living Fabrics supports a broad range of architects, designers and specifiers in the pursuit of furnishing projects with environmentally conscious fabrics – and have been accorded a number of sustainable certifications.
Amongst their new collection – ‘Sustainable Operator’ blends masculine greys with soft feminine colour to create a range that is mid-century modern. The fabric is made with 95% eco wool, and comes in soft orange, pink and mauve – adding a subtle colour pallet to any project.
‘Sustainable Director’ comes in four sophisticated, strong shades of grey. Inspired by ‘The Man in the Flannel Suit’, the range is both dapper and masculine. The fabric is woven and brushed as heavy-duty upholstery – providing added fire safety and softened acoustics, along with the strength and resilience of pure Australian wool.
‘Sustainable Coastline’ is also made with 100% Australian eco wool, and is extremely durable – with a score of over 100,000 in the Martindale Rub Count fabric abrasion test. Coastline comes in 20 fashion forward, pop colours (including Pantones), making it ideal for upholstery and drapery applications.
All Sustainable Living Fabric ranges have a 12 year warranty, GECA certification, are Carbon Offset, and are Australian Made using Australian Wool.
