ABET LAMINATI introduces Serigrafia 2008 by Paola Navone
June 5th, 2009
ABET LAMINATI enhances its design driven, often iconic, collection of screen-prints with the elegant ‘Serigrafia 2008’, created by Paola Navone.
Having worked alongside Alessandro Mendini and Ettore Sottsass, both protagonists of earlier Serigrafia collections, Paola has honed a career path that has made her one of Italy’s most influential and productive designers.
Paola presents her latest collection for ABET LAMINATI in four themes, Broccato, Ivy, Fiore Pop and Neige, each available in four distinct colourways.
The texture of Serigrafia 2008 collection is as important as the designs themselves, continuing ABET LAMINATI’s clear quest for that ephemeral synergy of tactility with decoration.
The range uses the new Longline texture – a sequence of fine vertical lines, imperfect yet clearly defined, which are as tactile as the printed designs are bold and delicate.
Serigrafia 2008 includes:
• Broccato evokes the lush feeling and decadence of the baroque period.
• Ivy is a classic vine pattern with a modern elegance.
• Fiore Pop is playful, bright and joyous homage to the iconic Pop Art.
• Neige is geometrical snowflakes with a simplicity that conjures up a feeling of Japanese design.
Available exclusively in Australia through ABET LAMINATI, the Serigrafia 2008 collection continues the company’s commitment to providing the best of Italian and international design.
