The teaching spaces were updated with Screenwood linear timber ceiling tiles, which drop into a standard two-way grid for a quick installation and allow continued access to the plenum.

Natural timber adds warmth to the classroom and the inclusion of an acoustic textile provides echo reduction and acoustic amenity, creating an environment conducive to independent study or collaborative work groups.

As education projects are often on a tight schedule, Screenwood is an easy choice as it is delivered prefinished, assembled and cut to specification and doesn’t require a specialist installer. PEFC certified, VOC and fire rated and acoustically tested, and available in a variety of profiles and finishes; Screenwood is an ideal solution for education facilities.
