Scoop®ED washbasin by Minosa™ modern bathroom luxury
October 22nd, 2009
The organic, timeless form of the Scoop®ED washbasin by Minosa™ exudes a modern style. Crafted in beautiful Corian®, this washbasin is designed to push the boundaries of the modern luxury bathroom market.
The concept behind the Scoop®ED was to produce a basin that was both elegant and at the same time one that questioned long-held views on what a washbasin should be. ’¨’¨
By designing a shallow, modern form and reducing the bowl capacity, Minosa™ has created a basin that actually uses less water. In order to avoid splashing, the flow rate of the tap has been slowed – wasting less water while retaining around 1.4L in the bowl, enough for daily tasks like shaving and face washing.
Apart from saving around 15,000L of water each year, the Scoop®ED design utilises Corian® – a 100% renewable product – to create its unique seamless form, also offering a wide range of colours.
The Scoop®ED washbasin has a great range of options; two sizes 900 & 1200 with the option of having the bowls located in the centre, right hand or left hand side. Minosa™ will soon be releasing a double version in two sizes 1600 & 1800mm, further increasing your options.’¨
Suitable for residential and commercial applications, the Scoop®ED washbasin is a shining example of quality Handcrafted Australian design. Every piece from the Minosa™ collection is hand made to order locally in Sydney.
