Australia’s internationally recognised ecolabel identifies true green.

The Environmental Choice Australia (GECA) Ecolabel has provided architects, manufacturers, designers and building industry professionals with an independent, reliable and convenient way to make environmentally preferable choices since 2001.

GECA pioneered product certification in Australia and remains the most widely recognised ecolabel in this consumer and commercial market.

Run by not-for-profit organisation Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA), the Environmental Choice Australia Ecolabelling program operates in line with ISO 14024 principles.

GECA uses scientific research and extensive consultation to develop life cycle based standards consistent with the international standard on ecolabelling, ISO 14024.

They are internationally recognised through its membership of the Global Ecolabelling Network (GEN).
