What does your company supply?

The Brintons product portfolio includes premium woven Axminster and Wilton broadloom carpets, tiles, tufted broadloom and hand tufted rugs.

What’s the history of your company (how did it start)?

Brintons first began weaving in Kidderminster, Worcestershire in 1783 and has been at the forefront of quality woven floorcoverings since. In September 2011, The Carlyle Group, one of the worlds’ largest global alternative asset managers, showed their confidence in the Brintons brand by their acquisition of business and backing management plans for growth.

Where do you distribute?

In all major markets; supplying palaces, hotels, restaurants, public buildings, convention centre’s and airports. Brintons global design team work closely with interior designers, architects, specifiers and end-users, specialising in products that offer quality, performance, service and innovative design. The residential side of the business supplies through a network of retailers.

Describe your customers?

They value great design and are incredibly discerning. They recognise and value quality in the products they specify and in the assured service provided by our dedicated team.

What sets your company apart?

Brintons dedicated team and our unrivalled technology. We pride ourselves on being one step ahead of the game, spotting trends and forecasting future fashions, ensuring we have grown and adapted to increasingly demanding consumer and corporate markets. This includes pushing the boundaries of technical development further than any other carpet manufacturer

Who should we speak to when specifying?

Our staff are nonstop on the road and personally active with every possible client. We have account managers, designers, project managers to assist clients in every aspect of the project, from specifying, to calculating the specific requirements, to installation. A job is only perfect, when the client is satisfied after the carpets are perfectly installed!

What are your client’s priorities at the moment?

For our very discerning clients, colour and design are absolute top priority. Through smart design, clients can differentiate themselves from their competitors whether they operate in hotels, restaurants, casinos or at sea. Of course the technical and quality aspects of our product are unrivalled, but design has to be cutting edge.

What is good design to you?

Good design is timeless as it enhances an interior space and captivates our senses.

Brintons’ mission is to make the world a more beautiful place.

What does the future hold?

Brintons is in its most new exciting phase, we intend to build on our illustrious heritage with investment in our people and facilities, ensuring our continued worldwide leadership position. Brintons has a strong owner in Caryle who is backing management and funding growth through investment and acquisition.

Further Comments:

A Brintons woven Axminster carpet will enhance any interior design scheme, provide comfort underfoot whilst withstanding the heaviest traffic, reducing noise pollution and improving indoor air quality. From the Kremlin to the White House, it’s no surprise that Brintons Carpets are trusted to deliver flooring solutions the world over. And, every day millions of us throughout the word test the enduring beauty of a Brintons carpet, including in airports from Hong Kong where the carpet withstands a footfall of 25million passengers a year, to Delhi the worlds’ largest carpeted area where 175,000sqm of Brintons Axminster graces the floor.
