La La stool by Helen Kontouris
La la has been designed by Helen Kontouris for Schiavello to provide an aesthetically engaging stool with extensive applications.
La la stool, with its sharp hour glass lines yet seamless surface, is an engaging concept.
Its sculptural form is charming from every possible angle. Encouraging different views, La la stool’s counteracting conical shapes collide diagonally, creating a fusion of crisp lines with curved forms.
"When designing the La la stool I was experimenting with the notion of the collision of form – where angular meets organic, which I believe creates a seating experience; one of physical and emotional interaction," designer, Helen Kontouris explains.
La la is lightweight and versatile, allowing it to be moved easily, and when needed, can be used as a stool, side table or decorative accessory.
This versatility makes La la perfect for residential, workspaces, break-out areas, hospitality, education and retail environments.
Made from virtually indestructible polyethylene, La la’s composition enables indoor and outdoor application.

Why play is important
Evoking notions of fun, creativity and recreation, Play, designed by Brian Steendyk, is an inspired response to our technology-driven world that also appreciates the duality of modern life.
With its four angular components echoing a Rubik’s cube, puzzle or ‘play’ button, the Play sofa invites participation and engagement, yet provides a welcoming place of respite.
Suitable for the contemporary workspace or home, Play is available in four sizes – from the 1 Play to the 4 Play.
