This strategic move falls in line with Moroso’s expansion plan of action in Asia and targets a long term establishment in the market with commercial and retail excellence combined with targeted marketing and communication support.
Patrizia Moroso, the brand’s art director visited South Korea for the very first time in October to view the space and inaugurate the brand new showroom. She also attended a set of events as well as interact with local architects, designers and media.
The showroom in Seoul has been specifically designed by Moroso creative team to convey Moroso’s ultimate goal: The beauty of design. The first and the second floor of the showroom, spaces of 90㎡ each, are dedicated to a selection of Moroso iconic pieces, such as the Gentry sofa and the Fjord armchair designed by Patricia Urquiola, the Diatom chair by Ross Lovegrove or the Moon chair designed by Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka. The chairs, sofas and tables are combined into an inviting composition that re-creates a complete room while remaining essentially modular.
The brand dedicated space also includes a Diesel Living collection setting, a 42㎡ area located in the showroom’s basement, which has been designed to express Diesel relaxed and fun mood with a rocker vibe.
The selection includes strong identity pieces such as the nebula nine sofa and the longwave armchair, modern style products made up of high quality combined with a distinctive design of pure lines.
