Ross Didier adds a sleek table chair to his modern seating range.

Melbourne-based designer Ross Didier has added to his Bombala seating range, now offering a four-legged table chair which stacks.

The Bombala collection – originally inspired by Mies van der Rohe’s Barcelona Chair – channels a sleek, modernist aesthetic.

“My intention was to reinterpret this 1928 design to embody new, unique character with a more contemporary aesthetic for indoor and outdoor use,” explains Didier.

The minimalist-designed easy chair and ottoman, engineered with a reverse canti-levered frame for extreme comfort, flexibility and strength, are also now available with upholstered cushioning.

The paddings are available in any specified fabrics or leathers and its tapered form makes it simple to remove the slip over the cushioning for different looks.

The Bombala series shows a strong commitment to quality production, the furniture being hand fabricated with impressive attention to detail ensuring the seating surface and welded junctions blend seamlessly.
