Meet Freddy – the perfect coupling of comfort and style.
May 2nd, 2016
Melbourne based Bent Design Studio offers a collection of furniture pieces centred on expert craftsmanship and clean, modern design. Frustrated with Australia’s relative geographic isolation, and the lag in new trends reaching our shores, the designers sought to develop and showcase on-trend designs by Australian design talent and local craftsmen. The team works with many materials, but recent collections have highlighted the use of natural, solid oak.
A part of the Bent collection is Freddy – an Australian made fabric sofa lounge. The plush, comfortable sofa is an entirely custom made, beautifully designed, classic piece for your home. Built from a solid hardwood frame reinforced with steel, a high density foam inner core and feather and fibre top surface make up the sofa’s deep cushioning – and serious comfort. Freddy’s impeccably engineered design also gives it the appearance of floating or hovering above its slender frame.
Design features include:
– Hardwood Frame (Lifetime Warranty)
– Solid hardwood front rail
– Dunlop Enduro Foam – (Lifetime Warranty)
– No sag steel springs in seat base – Softer more advance support system
– American Oak legs – stained to your choice
– Feather Wrap seat cushions:
Dunlop Enduro foam with an 80% feather / 20% Fibre wrap
Feather Fibre Back cushions – 80% feather / 20% fibre
Feather Fibre scatters cushions – 80% feather / 20% fibre
Freddy is a perfect match of brilliant, beautiful design, and pure comfort. Relax, curl up and sink in, in style. Freddy is available at Huset Design Store in standard and deep sizing, and in a range of fabric colours.
