UK Carpet designers and manufacturers Brintons launch a new design collection.
May 19th, 2009
Brintons – a world leader in the design and manufacture of woven Axminster carpet, launched their new ‘Reverb’ collection last week.
The collection – with its four distinct ‘chapters’ of ‘organic’, ‘micro’, ‘urban’ and ‘flight’ – aims to capture elements of the natural and man-made worlds – with features inspired by everything from the molecular makeup of organisms to “sprawling urban landscapes”.
Brintons’ international design team collaborated in whole on the ‘Reverb’ project, including Australian designers.
“The ‘Reverb’ collection has had a very significant contribution from our designers within the Asia Pacific region and particularly from Australia,” says John Bain – Head UK Designer for Brintons.
“This offers our clients in other continents the unique style and handwriting that our talented creative people in Australia bring to the table.”
Launching to the market this month, the ‘Reverb’ collection is already turning heads: “Ultimately though, our design led collections generally push the boundaries of convention and creativity rules – we are not about ‘me too’ designs – and each of our collections has been successful precisely because of this and the early signs are that Reverb is hitting the same note,” Bain says.
