The five colours in the Dekton XGloss range, represent a new technological breakthrough in finishes, being a line of polished high-tech ultra-compact surfaces characterised by their dazzling crystal shine.
June 14th, 2016
Available through Dekton, the Cosentino range has been produced through advanced nanotechnological treatments and a mechanical polishing process, resulting in an extraordinary crystal-like shine. This shine, combined with the hardness and high resistance characteristics, makes this a line of exceptional performance and unique aesthetic.
The five colours available…
Halo: A pure white colour with a clean crystal shine. This colour channels the latest trends in design and reflects light, making spaces seem bigger.
Splendor: An elegant soft grey. Subtle and restrained, the colour has been designed to fit well within new styles of kitchen design.
Blaze: A dark grey colour with a subtle metallic effect.
Lumina: An earthy and warm brown colour, with an intense shine.
Spectra: A classic and solid black colour with an exceptional shine.
This new launch has Cosentino recommitting to its constant search for innovation, as Valentín Tijeras, Product and Innovation Director at Cosentino, explains, “This commitment stems from an awareness of a growing demand for lustrous, dramatic colours in the world of design, and the realisation that the high-shine materials available in the market until now do not perform well. We therefore wanted to continue in our tradition as pioneers in uniting spectacular beauty with high durability and stain resistance in XGloss.
“What makes it different is that we achieve this in an integrated way throughout the whole body and surface of the slabs, firstly thanks to the nanoparticle treatment and then to the mechanical polishing method. This is neither a coating nor a varnish applied a posteriori, but rather a technological and productive system exclusive to Cosentino.” Tijeras concludes.
